Snuggles hosts a charity event

Posted by: xilef

Later this month, on Tuesday 13th of May, Kathy "Snuggles" Zablotzky of London Mint will be hosting a charity event. It will take places at the Walkabout Pub on the High Street in Lincoln, and will begin at 7PM.

The event will consist of challenge DoA 4 matches against the current female UK champion, and will raise money for the PDSA, People's Dispensary for Sick Animals. They are a private organisation who take care of injured and sick animals with owners who cannot afford conventional vets. It is the second event Kathy has ran, and last time she raised just under £100. She will be looking to build on this the second time around, and any help is appreciated.

If there are any questions about the event, you can ask Kathy in the comments and she will do her best to answer them fully!

You can read more about the PDSA HERE.

Mike, you can go to the PDSA site via the HERE link above and donate online. Thanks

Stune, thanks for your support as always

Felix, you spelt my name wrong again! LOL!

For this event I won't be the only DOA4 player there, so the punters will be able to challenge me, Liefje, Linex, Izayoi Master, Neophyte or Scooby Doobs. All are DOA players who are going to the combine,

We will be there from about 6:30pm ready to take on anyone who thinks they are hard enough!

Well, we had another good night at the Walkabout in Lincoln. There were fewer of us than expected, but myself, Liefje, Izayoi Master and Neophyte went along and took on all comers. I am pleased to say that we are all unbeaten Mind you, considering that we had to tell nearly everyone which button did what, I guess it's only right that none of us lost LOL!

Quotes from the players:

Izayoi Master: It was fantastic! And it was really nice of the pub to provide us with a meal and a few drinks.
Liefje: I thought it was nice to see people who didn't even like video games giving it a go because it was for a good cause, and it was fun to see people enjoying themselves playing DOA.
Neophyte: It was fun seeing random people playing DOA and seeing their reactions when they won a round (Snuggles: all of the players were kind and let the people who took part have a round or two LOL) and it was fun to see them trying to jump over barriers

I want to thank all the players for coming and taking part, and all the people who had a go for their contribution to the PDSA.

Because it was a Tuesday night, and quieter than the last time, we only collected 34.10 pounds sterling, but added to the last time we have raised 110 pounds to help sick animals in need of vets. Thank you to everyone involved.
