A letter from the GM

Hello everyone!

It’s been a hectic few weeks for me since officially starting my new position as the London Mint GM. I’ve been busy getting my head down trying to learn as much as possible about the games i wasn’t overly confident in. With three or so weeks until the combine i’ve got amble time to build up a mental image of the type of gamers i want in London Mint, along with acquiring an advanced knowledge of the games they play.

While i’ve been working at my previous job as the 4Kings General Manger i’ve been keeping tabs on the CGS the entire time and i’m really excited to be joining such a fantastic league. This is the future of eSports, CGS is putting the time and effort to really make gaming mainstream, that is something we can all support, despite some gamers not agreeing whole heartedly with the game choices.

So my first task is to protect and to draft, this will prove difficult, but my one and only aim currently is to ensure we have a team capable of winning the UK final and then conquering the world finals. I’ve always craved success, from when I was a player to then moving into management, the aim of the game is to succeed.

ODEE, watch out!

One assumption people in the communities are already making is that I’ve already got my team set in stone, I know exactly who i want and why. This however is very untrue, this is not to say I will overlook individuals who are currently in the Mint lineup, everyone and anyone at that combine, if they perform on their day and show their potential have to be seriously considered.

The responsibility i have is immense, not only do I owe it to the gamers who will represent London Mint to have the best team humanly possible, but also to the fans, I really want to bring home the win for Mint and the UK as a whole at the world finals.

With the combine weeks away I can’t wait! I’m going to move Mint forward into an even bigger and better team than it currently is, are you with me?
